Saturday 24th June to 1st July 2023 crochet workshop with tutor Jane Crowfoot

Enjoy a week of workshops in rural France with inspirational tutor Jane Crowfoot. The holiday will consist of 2 full day workshops and 4 half day workshops. During free time guests can relax in the house and garden or go on optional outings to the local towns for shopping and sightseeing.

The Tutor

Jane Crowfoot was one of our first tutors at 'Knitting Holidays in France' back in 2007 and became a regular visitor over the years. After a break for a few years to set up her studio and workshop programme in the UK, I am really happy to have persuaded her to come back to France.

Trained as a constructed textile designer, Jane has worked within the hand knitting craft industry for the last 25 years and is recognised as one of the leading designers within her field, more recently acknowledged as one of the pioneers of the UK crochet revival. Jane is a designer and maker, author and tutor specialising in contemporary and innovative crochet designs for the home interior, drawing much of her inspiration from her love of art, textiles and travel. Jane focuses much of her design work on creating imaginative and motivational Crochet Along (CAL) projects, which give the home crafter the chance to distance learn many crochet techniques by working through one of her vibrant and appealing designs in bite size instalments. Jane lives and works in North London, UK

Jane has also written columns for both Simply Crochet and Crochet Now magazines, a monthly master class column for The Knitter magazine and articles for Rowan Yarns newsletters.

The Workshops

During the course of the week Jane will guide you through all the techniques needed to complete a crochet project that she will design specifically for this workshop. All skill levels are welcome.

It's the perfect opportunity to understand and explore all the techniques used to create one of Jane's beautiful and unique designs. All materials will be supplied, with one-to-one tuition.
