Shades of autumn

For the first time in years we have had a fantastic display of autumn colours. Usually we get strong winds in October that bring down all the leaves before they change to Orange, gold and crimson but this year has been a treat.

Yesterday we woke up to the the first heavy frost and our first delivery of logs arrived, it feels like winter is on the way.
