Messing about on the river

I am lucky enough to have a bit of time off in the summer. We don't run the knitting holidays in July and August because it is a) usually fairly warm here and b) the barn is occupied by family and friends or let out as a self-catering holiday home.
We have always been very into boats and the water, both of us have sailed for many years but decided to swap the sea for the river and bought a little river boat earlier this year. It has been so lovely to explore the Charente river on the water, here are a few images from our recent trips.
