June knitting and crochet retreat - Puce des couturieres and Dorset Buttons
We have just had a lovely week with a group of our regular visitors. Everyone arrived on the same flight which made the transfer back to the Barn very easy and we were home in time for lunch. The weather was a bit of a mixture with rain and sunshine, but warm enough for swimming every day. On the Sunday morning some of us went to the puce des couturières at Matha. This is a sale of crafting materials including yarn, ribbons, trimmings, buttons, new and vintage fabrics and lace and many more crafting goodies.
On Tuesday we spent the day with our Norwegian friends and Tania from TJ Frog who were staying nearby. Tania had kindly offered to hold a Dorset Button workshop, so we spent the day making these lovely buttons.
