Crochet Workshop with tutor Jane Crowfoot
The last holiday of 2022 has just come to an end and what a great week it has been.
We had seven guests staying at the Barn and we were joined by our Norwegian friends for two days bringing the numbers up to 12. The theme for the project was Christmas, Jane provided everyone with a yarn pack of 10 colours in Stylecraft Naturals Organic Cotton and brought along a choice of festive patterns - Beaded Christmas Decorations, Festive Crochet Decorations, Festive Mini Stockings and the Mystical Lanterns blanket.

After the first day and a half of workshops lots of projects were starting to take shape. In the afternoon we went to Saintes for a trip to the fabric shop and Maison du Monde which was packed with Christmas inspiration.

On Wednesday morning it was a trip to St Jean d'Angely and a wander around the town.

A bit of shopping in the fabric shop

and coffee in the square

The weather was lovely with warm sunshine for most of the week so everyone was able to work in the garden in the afternoons.
At the end of the week we had a show and tell of all the projects, what a wonderful collection!

And on the thursday night we had a lively meal for all 15 of us, the perfect end to a fun packed week.
