Sue and John (Culli) Culligan live in South West France with their two dogs Buddy and Billie.
Sue learnt to knit when she was 4 years old and has been passionate about colour, textiles and design since then. After leaving Brighton Art College she started a business designing and making knitwear for children, over the years the business transformed into a yarn shop and online business, which she ran until a few years after the move to France.
Having successfully managed knitting holidays in France for 17 years Sue is now concentrating on new knitting designs and recipes for the KnitKits website. She also works as a freelance translator and pattern editor for French yarn company Bergere de France.
Culli is an architect, working on design projects
for French and English clients in the local area. He is also a keen wood turner and makes some beautiful hand-turned yarn bowls, vases, bead bowls and pin cushions for KnitKits.
